Moi, I think congratulations are in order. Are you still celebrating the successful completion of your thesis?

Let me give you a bouquet of cyberflowers today!

That's a flower I think?. Very interesting shot.

Cool shot. Great DOF but the focus is not absolutely spot on.

This shot has such a wonderful mood to it!! (if that is the right word??) Everything is so complementary... the texture of the carpet, the smoothness of the Lily, the angle of the shot -- even the blinds in the background add to it.
I love it!!!

A-x: yes, this is one of the very few "staged" shots you'll find on this space :)

Annie: I was busy making changes that my committee members wanted me to in my thesis and now I am FREE :)

Mike : it is ...:)

N: you are right....could it be because this has been shot in natural light or because of my hands not being stable??

Thank u all :)

Still looks good even though it's plastic!

How are the changes coming along and what is your thesis on?

Beautiful composition, Moi, and the dark red really makes the flower stand out.
Very interesting angle that you chose (and had the imagination to "see' it).

How interesting - you bring out the beauty in the plastic :)

And blogging may be slightly better than sliced bread. I'm really getting addicted to it!

I like the idea of a still life. Or, should I say, a still plastic.

It almost looks porcelain rather than plastic. The angle is interesting as well. I like it.

Sorry to be a bit absent lately, but this week was a working hell... Maybe nothing compared to your thesis anyhow! Congratulations!
Great pictures here: loved the Blues (of course) and the Benchmark in particular.
Have a great weekend!

I love the look of the photo, it makes me stare and wonder at first just what it is.

Congrats on finishing the thesis. I'm sure that's chore you're glad to be finished with!

What was the thesis on?
