Fields of sunshine..........

Fields of sunshine

The mood here in Central Illinois, right now is golden :) Soy fields are all sunshine.......the whole agrarian landscape is radiant with their confident splash of yellow :) And with all those smilies that I am using as punctuation marks in this post, you can see that their positive energy is not lost upon me....these bright hues in yellows, greens and reds (of barns and buildings) feed my color-fetish. Have a beautiful SUN-day :)

Soy fields turn into gold

Thanks for the Sun Day Moi. Its so fresh and cheerful.
We have had our first rain of the season and even though the sky is grey right now, the air needed a good washing and my lawn said thank you too. Tomorrow the temps are suppose to be back in the 80"s with the shower long gone.

You have captured the enormity of farm country in a series of very small pictures. How do you DO that? And how do you do it so incredibly well. Your photography is remarkable for the spirit you manage to shoehorn into every shot.

Gorgeous! That is a fantastic golden scene. Reminds me of Van Gogh in the South of France. Who knew Central Illinois was so beautiful?

Hi Moi
Your fingers must be tired after leaving all those comments :)

I find photographing large flat landscape expanses very challenging, but you are an expert at it.

Ah yes. I get a better feel now for how the song praises "fields of amber grain." -- good work.

hey!
How are you doing??

Amazing snaps those...I was driving through Illinois and Indiana a couple of weeks ago and was amazed by the beautiful fields...i really loved the goldish-hue on those crops....and the trees with the early fall colours made it even more attractive

I love the soybeans gone golden, this is one of my joys driving to and from work. I'm so happy you are also enjoying the Midwest!
