I haven't been out with my camera in some time now. I just haven't had time to. Hopefully "with time", as I get more used to this disciplined (tied-up???) life I'll learn to juggle things better. I swear, I am trying.
Meanwhile, here's yet another lighthouse that we added to our "collection" recently. Sandy Hook Light (built in 1764) located almost on the tip of New Jersey is the oldest continuously working lighthouse in US. It was shot on a beautiful afternoon that we spent outdoors with my husband's cousin. The park surrounding it was completely deserted and we had this beacon all to ourselves...almost like our own quiet, private getaway. On the flip side, since the light stays closed in winters, we could not get to climb up into the tower to get the view of New York Bay and Atlantic. Next time, perhaps!
