Very cool...I love the picture you took!:)
It's even neater that you have a photo of what Van Gogh wrote! (got a little hasty with the publish key - oops!)
Why is the snap so dark?? With the dark template it looks darker.
jen: :)
kanishka: i know but its taken in very very low light from behind the glass of the boat..........cant help the dark bit there!!!! :(
Its beautiful, and especially neat is the "Van Gogh's 1988" and "Moi's 2006" bit!
I see u seem to be drawing inspiration from the maestro's, I love van gogh, any man who can cut of his ear for a woman he loves is definitely worth knowing
A great painting! Arles, I have to go there! :)
For a moment I thought the photo and painting are of the same bridge, trickery :)

wud luv to see more of them, any day :)
sarad: they look very similar, dont they? :)
reflex: take me along :)
suramya : :) there's more to him than his cut-ear though :)
jas: glad u liked it :)
Except for the arches under the bridge, wouldn't have been able to tell the difference. I had to read the foot note to realize they weren't the same :-)
and the irony is one was painted in 1888 while the latter is shot in 2006.....
sard: yeah they are very very similar..wonder if there are more bridges like these around ...or is it just some kinda co-incidence!!! or maybe the bridge in amsterdam was built after VanGogh's painting!!!! .....time to google!!! :DDDD
And your photo is much, much better! lol
Love the colours and atmosphere moi, must have some special memories with this photo. :-)
Sandy
LOL Good one, moi! And I like the "darkness" - gives it a relaxed, evening stroll feel.
Very clever! Were you aware of Van Gogh's painting when you shot your picture?
