Looking back as the year draws to an end

Looking back

It's been an eventful year for us, and that's really an understatement. Life's been more than chaotic in the past few days......it's been a rumba with suitcases, decisions, and emotions. Our move to West Coast has been shelved, for now.

Life in rear view mirror as we left Virginia and drove up further north with the whole kit and caboodle that mattered to us packed in our "Merry Oldsmobile". Hope you all are having a great holiday season and here's wishing all a beautiful year ahead.

Moi,
When one door closes, another opens; but we often look so long and so regretfully upon the closed door that we do not see the one that's showing us new opportunities.
Hope is a great word for you this coming year! But I would also add Believe - you are both shining stars about to light up the sky!

Best of everything for the New Year!

Beautiful shot!

I can relate to your emotions on moving. I have moved numerous times with my husband to various places I told myself I would NEVER live. But each one was a unique and wonderful adventure that I wouldn't trade for anything.

Good luck to you both.

Happy New Year!!!

One thing about rear view mirror outside the car. We never fog them up like we do the windshields looking forward.

I find you to be a delightful person, inspiring to read, and your photos are great. I hope all the chaos of recent times will soon be behind you and well worth going through it. Sometimes you just have to go through it - to get through it.

That's a fabulous shot - looking backward, remembering and honoring what has been while moving on to the unknown. Here's a kiss X for you, Moi and another for the object of your affection X.
