Hi Moi! Just a speedy visit to say hello! I’ve been busy the whole last week and will be out in the next, so this is far less than your blog deserves… ;(( But I promise I’ll come back with more time after June 10th, at least… Anyhow, loved to see the West! To avoid leaving you empty hands, I published a last post on Marrakesh 2006 at Blogtrotter. ;)) Enjoy!
I am glad you enjoyed your visit to Colorado. I hope you get to come back to see Mesa Verde. Cannot wait to see all the photos from your perspective! I love Garden of the Gods, it is so unique for a free park! Great captures, and congrats on the new camera...so jealous...
There is something about the wide open spaces that really fills a spot in me. I love the barn and windmill in the last shot, but I actually love them all.
its such a delight to see such a huge expanse of land with just a few reminders of civilization. are the barns so far apart? shouldn't they be close to the main ranch?
Lovely scenes, and that's a great sign :) I'm like June...I admire the beauty of the West, but I adore the green of this part of the world. It looks rather like parts of Australia out there.
Welcome to our kittydom. We used to be shelter cats in our past lives but now we have a happy home and we think that together we can make this planet a no-kill haven for all our fur friends. Come, join us in our cause and help us spread the word.

Funny how people take to different parts of the country. I admire the beauty out west but my soul can't live with so little green...

Ye-Haw! Wonderful shots, Moi! :)
like scenes from a western novel!
nicely done.
With everything so dry, how do the cattle get enough grass to survive?
very beautiful
Oh what fun!! I love the sign too!!
Oh gorgeous! Big sky is so great. What a different landscape, eh? Lucky you.
This is a great time of the year to visit Colorado... it is so beautiful!

Very cool (or maybe very hot?) -- I've never been out west. Though I live on the East coast, I never travel west (usually East, sometimes south)...
i have an uncle and aunt in colorado, but have never visited there. i hope to someday. i've never been further west than missouri.
sounds like you've been busy with work. i'll try to e-mail soon. things are quite chaotic here, too.
Apparently you have done a very fine travel.
