The call of the open road

The call of the open Road

With mounting gas prices, the title seems a little out of place, don't you think. But I haven't had a real chance to experiment with my camera ever since we came back from our trip to Colorado, so I continue to pay tributes to what I think was as close to Xanadu as it can get, for us the Kubla Khans on the road :)

Oooo wow, Moi. I think you have outdone yourself. Each shot is so different and unique. I could see the last one enlarged and on my livingroom wall. really nice.

The sky is amazing on that second image, and I love how on the first one the road curves out of sight. I think most of our lives are like that -- our paths twist and turn and always include elements of the unexpected. Great shots!

The last several photos you've posted are great! It's been a while since I last stopped by ... keep up the great shots!

The ranch shots reminded me of the movie "City Slickers". :-D

You've brought me right back to my last trip to Colorado about 18 months ago. I'd live there if I could - except I'd be so addicted to the scenery that I'd never get any work done :)

These are stunning. No surprise, of course, given your way around a lens.
