The Garden of the Gods

Garden of the Gods, CO

It's the third day of our "vacation" here in Colorado and it just keeps getting better every day :) Every turn, every bend has an image to offer. This trip's doing wonders for my work-weary soul :) And the fact that my recently acquired D40 makes a debut with this trip makes it all the more special :) This was the first pic on the trip that I took with my latest object of affection. Critics, don't give me grief on over/under exposures etc. 'coz honestly I am overwhelmed with all the bells and whistles a DSLR comes with so am taking no chances and shooting in Auto mode till I know better :)

A couple more shots from "The Garden of the Gods"

:)

Wait for me!

Every picture supposedly tells a story. Do you see one here? I can almost "hear his curiosity": What could it be that my friends left me behind for :)

Bench under the shade

Before we hightail it to Summer, I want to paint my blog in all possible hues of spring........As a poet wrote before, "Colors are the smiles of nature" :)

All that glitters.......

Light in my living room 2

Late afternoon light that greets me when I reach home after a day's work is enough for me to forget my weariness and dash for my camera, the moment I get in from the front door :)
