Blind Alleys?????

We briefly re-visited the national historic landmark, Ybor City, the Latin quarter in Tampa (the only part of oh-so-new-and-boring city that has character to it). It's a delightful place for the history-philes especially coz of its old cigar factories, where the old art of hand-rolled cigar continues to live on. We had not much time or quarters to park today! The pic of this indiscrete bylane instantly reminded me of India and all its gullies and nukkads(well not exactly nukkads, but i can't think of gully w/out nukkad!) :)

i really, really like that one...

isn't it weird how some images can really talk to someone and then others are just, ehh?

i haven't been to new dehli yet. maybe soon i will be able to go. the images i have from siliguri are when i had my nikon n65 35mm, so i had to scan them. i took about 7 rolls worth, but i can't seem to find them. when i head back spring '07, i'll be using the digital, so i will be able to shoot more.

Nice shot. Good perspective.

I wish I could go more often to some of the numerous dilapidated buildings around here in Toronto. These structures, to me, are like stories, to which you can add your imagination.
