Is there anything like an "imperfect sunset" ?????

" Nature rarer uses yellow Than another hue; Saves she all of that for sunsets, --Prodigal of blue, Spending scarlet like a woman, Yellow she affords Only scantly and selectly, Like a lover's words." Emily Dickinson No sunset can ever be replicated..............and thats what makes them so special. I can see a bazillion sunset shots and still not get tired of them.......they always bring a whiff of nostalgia, romance and warmth.........It's like those Van Gogh's paintings....their beauty refuse to efface, years after they were created. God's own way of telling us that all art is but an imitation of nature...........:)

it's really beautiful... you are right, no one can be replicated... and the text is beautiful.. a very delicate complement

I don't think there is...each one brings something a little different. If only we could catch them all, and experience them with the ones we love.

Cool shot! Lots of mood - it's true what you say - no 2 are alike, so it's great to get some shots of any sunset you can. Way to go!

What do I say?? Even if I can never write like Emily Dickinson, I think learning to appreciate a sunset is a gift in itself :)
