It's Raining awards.............;)

Pitter-Patter

For someone who's been following this blog for long, the pic would remind them of the times when i poured out my love for rains every now and then , hither and thither..My fascination with rain drops is eternal...and guess what, while someone in North joked that Spring's caught cold .....Spring was sneezing here during the weekend and the beginning of the week.....We had the first showers of the year....a little early in the year but that's Florida for you...Seasons, if any, arrive early here. There was a tornado warning in the neighboring county and the hurricane predictions for 2007 are beginning to make news......The image was captured during last year's hurricane season from a speeding car.....This being the fag end of semester at school, I cud not find time to go out and shoot in/after rains.......Mark Twain once famously said, "Everybody talks about the weather, but nobody does anything about it."..Well "We, the photo-bloggers" capture it for others to "eloquate" :)

Meanwhile, Cris has chosen me as one of the recipients of "Thinking Blogger Award"....It's heartening, really...I'm chuffed, to say the least. Thanx a ton, Cris!!

This is a meme where I need to pass it on to 5 other bloggers who make moi think. This is a tough one, considering that all the blogs I love to visit let me pause and tarry, ponder, wonder aloud, sigh or/and swoon :) I've been pondering over it and though I'd like to give a definitive list, my inner jury is still deliberating. So the best way out is, I choose all the blogs on the Link section of my blog as winners. Viva Blogging!!!! :)

Have a great Friday the 13th, all :DD

This is a richly deserved honor. Not only do you take photos that burn their way into our respective memories, but you also wrap them in words that immensely enrich the experience.

You're gifted with a lens and a pen. How lucky for us!

Yeah, I saw the warnings the other night while I was watching "American Idol" ;) It rained pretty good up here in Lakeland and the wind picked up for a while.

I like the shot here, it is a scene that we've all looked on ourselves and can feel the sensation of riding/driving in the rain. We had a lot of rain over here on the east coast of FL as well this past weekend.

Chica, Cienna, and Cali said...

yeah and it continued over this weekend too...am not complaining..it's got temp. down and i love rains :)
