Song of the South

Flowers, anyone??

Long weekend's almost knocking on us and a few minutes back we decided, on a total whim, that we are not spending it at home. One week of school and I'm already yearning to hit the road.....so off we go again, this time headed to Savannah, Georgia :)

I am so stoked to see the town Le Monde once described "The most beautiful city in North America," (so claims Wikipedia). I am not using any adjectives till I have been there. Meanwhile, people in the know, you gotta tell me what all to see, do and visit while in town. Anna , Ginnie , I need your help!!!! :)

Have one heck of a weekend, all :)

Have a great time in Savannah. Hope Ginnie gave you good ideas. I've never been, and I want to go, and also to Charleston. That's a beautiful tableau of flowers, wow.

As always, another beautiful photo! I'm in the US at the moment and will only have internet access for a couple days, then I'm off to Miami!

thats a lovely moi-ish picture

Wow! That's an amazing abundance of blooms in that planter. In fact, I can't get over the fact that it's a planter, I would have guessed a vase-type thing to hold cut flowers given the profusion of them!

Have fun in Savannah! I know it only though the movie "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil" and it sure looked purdy.

Lovely photo, pretty colors and framing. Looks like a nice home to walk up to and knock on the door to be invited in for tea.

You have a great weekend too !!! And next time try dry grinding the poppy seeds in a very basic coffee grinder. That is what I did till I got my new mixie.

Hope you have a good time in Savannah. Never been to Georgia. Somehow managed to miss that State on our travels. Will put it down for next summer. :)
