The Garden of the Gods

Garden of the Gods, CO

It's the third day of our "vacation" here in Colorado and it just keeps getting better every day :) Every turn, every bend has an image to offer. This trip's doing wonders for my work-weary soul :) And the fact that my recently acquired D40 makes a debut with this trip makes it all the more special :) This was the first pic on the trip that I took with my latest object of affection. Critics, don't give me grief on over/under exposures etc. 'coz honestly I am overwhelmed with all the bells and whistles a DSLR comes with so am taking no chances and shooting in Auto mode till I know better :)

A couple more shots from "The Garden of the Gods"

Beautiful BEAUTIFUL, Moi! I'm green with envy.. because of the new camera and because of Colorado. I can't say I blame you one bit for sticking with the Auto setting for now. I also have no doubt you'll be whizzing through those bells and whistles in no time. Lovely!

Ooh, I love these shots! I've never been to Colorado. Somehow, even though I live on the East Coast, I tend to travel eastward rather than westward... It's good to be back to blogging again after my mini-hiatus! I'm glad that you're enjoying my shots = )

Oh, those CO landscapes and you've captured them so beautifully!
Lucky girl!! I'm so happy that you have a new toy! You're going to love it! My first couple of weeks were frustrating because it's all different. I'm sure you'll learn quickly, though if you're like me you want to know it all immediately :)
Be patient!
