Icy

(N)ice! :)

"The ice was here, the ice was there, The ice was all around ................." S T Coleridge

We woke up to an entire landscape encased in ice this morning........I swear I could feel my heart do cartwheels of joy :) This shot was hastily taken before leaving for work. I am so hoping that the ice doesn't melt completely till tomorrow when I'll have all the time in the world to capture it on my camera............Keeping my fingers crossed for a (n)ice weekend here ;D

It's frustrating when the beauty is there but you have no time to stop! You did well for being in a hurry. I hope there's ice left for you to capture with your camera, Moi.
But don't worry, I'm positive there'll be more before winter's over :)
We had another snow storm today.

I really like how you framed this shot...the lines and angles are spot on.

This shot is wonderfully composed (as always). I do hope you can have more icy joy this weekend. :)

Great shot but just looking at that ice makes me feel shivery. Of course, it is freezing here, too, but I haven't gone out to see the ice ... yet.

Came back to look at these wonderful photos again. I especially love the one with the photographer - she looks so happy.

Enjoy your new lease on photography, hope it lasts. And I will check out Transiberian! Thank you for that.

Love the ice....this works so well in B&W.

PS, yes, that shot was from my Iphone. I took another one today at PF Changs that I posted. I am pretty impressed with it as a camera so far!

Happy holidays to you and yours!
