Memories of Summer

Anemones

In the absence of any color around moi, I felt like painting my blog in summer colors today, to help ward off the wintry chill (read: I haven't touched my camera in two weeks now).............."Winter must be cold for those with no warm memories" - from An Affair to Remember.

Yes good idea Moi,
Colours are so poor in winter, but so pretty and your flowers show that even more, don't you celebrate Christmas there? I do and I am using a lot of colours but overall RED, try it, it gives you so much fun inside the house...

Are you celevbrating christmas too?
Wishing you a nice week,

Greetings from JoAnn's D Eyes /Holland

Delicate and pretty. The wind is howling right now, it's dark outside, and your flowers are a sweet respite. :)

Hi Moi, your flowers are attractive and colored, but I do not think that there is not other things colored around you....

How could we ever forget something so beautiful, Moi! I guess we all need this right now...even if we DO love the wintertime (as I do).

Heck...when it's as cold as it's been outside it's no fun to be out taking pictures! A good time to work on and/or pull out existing ones :-)

Your beautiful photo of the anemones is so welcome after this very snowy day.
Give me the colors of spring, summer and fall over the black and white of winter any day! But the snow was beautiful today....and appreciated for that (and for bringing many birds to the feeders) since I didn't have to drive anywhere in it :)
Anemones are one of my absolute favorites, especially that soft pink.

I think you did a very good job of painting your blog in summer colours - love the flower buds in the background, their softness is beguiling
