Out in the cold

Stumps wearing hats

Time for reality check!!!! Freezing temperatures outside needed a mention before we continue with the trip images....... Remember the stumps? They are back, this time with ermine hats :)

Brrrrr 1

Doesn't Old Man Winter get tired .....painting this pristine beauty across the landscape.....he does it week after week in these parts......

Brrr 2

Though I love the beauty of an all white facade of that farm building, I get the urge to paint it red, every time I pass it on my way to work.My fetish for colors!!!!!!! :)

Wow. This stump photo is even better than the autumn one.

What you have where you are, that I don't, is hills. The added dimension is something else with all that frost on the trees.

Stay warm!

I love your landscapes.

Do you mind sharing what lens you shoot with? I have the hardest time shooting a landscape I like. It seems all blurry in the wrong places. Portraits, kids, action, flowers...I can do. Landscapes, no can do!

To be honest, Moi, I'm glad Old Man Winter seems to be back with a vengeance this year, especially here in the South. We needed these cold temps once again (no snow yet here in Atlanta) to kill all the bugs!

You have such a good photographic eye, Lady!

The stumps shot is superb!!! All that white is almost bright enough to make you forget how dreary winter can be .... almost bright enough ..... {shiver shiver}
