Mama Mia! :)

A would-be-mom will surely appreciate this pampering from the authorities. I tried to better my earlier pics on Moms but could not. Here's wishing all the moms and would-be-moms a beautiful and happy Mother's day.

how apt :), the stork :):), this is what my mother told me when I asked her the question, "where do babies come from?", I even asked her if she had invited the stork who brought me :), blissful childhood, lucky new moms who are going to go through it again

I'm such a cynic that I always think, "what a great marketing idea this is", when I see these parking reserved signs. After all, who buys lots of stuff - moms and expectant moms.

For a second there I thought you were trying to tell us something ;-)
Happy Mother Day to your Mom!

The first time I had seen something like that(stork carrying a baby) was in walt disney's animation Dumbo'-the story of a young elephant

Sure they would! :)
In calgary we have reserved parking spots for "expectant mothers and mothers with children", although there is no stork with a bundle of joy on the signpost!! :)

As a kid I thought that all babies came from the hospital (I figured that out myself after I saw a magazine with a front page showing zillions of babies in thier cribs in a hospital)

Annie: Cynicism doesn't come easy to me...guess, it comes with the territory of "been there, done that"! :)

Isabella Not yet, not yet! :)Thanx for the wishes for my mom. am sure she'll appreciate it too....and wish ur mom a great Mother's day too :)

Sarad I cant remember with such clarity where I saw it first ..but guess, Mom being a gynecologist, I saw it on one of her hospital materials!

Jas when i held my younger brother for the first time, I really thought that Durga ma lent him to us coz my Mom prays to her daily ...and coz we are a great family :)

I've never seen a parking sign like this before. Its rather interesting. There were a few times I could have used that when my kids were small.

Nice Mother's Day picture and a funny sign!
As for me, I'll soon have to start paying attention to where the senior citizen parking spots are... :-)

i loved this , moi....it brought a smile to my face. too bad they didn't have these parking spaces at the university i was attending when i was heavy with child....... i had to park far away and trudge through ice and snow with my big 'ole belly....not fun! :)

Anna said...

I miss being able to use those spaces....NOT! :) Great pic!

I haven't seen a sign like this before, but it seems like a nice, friendly idea.
