that last step looks the best....getting ready to jump into the water! i wonder what he had found in the sand that was so fascinating....or was it the sand itself?
In his sweet innocence it's hard to imagine him as a grown man. I like to try to imagine the different ages when I look at a person - their childhood selves or their adult ones. Funny little quirk of mine, I guess.
This is sweet. Ahhh the joy of being a kid on a beach.. not a care in the world.. just warmth and sand and water and (I'm sure) a watchful parent to keep him safe.
Beautiful images! The beach is wonderful at any age. My favorite place to be! I've enjoyed traveling with you! The wedded couple look so happy and your shots are very special. I enjoyed seeing Mackinac too. Looks like a lovely place to visit. Very happy belated birthday wishes. Sounds like you had a glorious day! I'm glad. Thanks for my happy birthday wish too :)
Welcome to our kittydom. We used to be shelter cats in our past lives but now we have a happy home and we think that together we can make this planet a no-kill haven for all our fur friends. Come, join us in our cause and help us spread the word.

The kid looks so happy, though his pants are almost as big as him!

Cool. Is he related to you?
Fascinating study of playfulness. Nice colors and subject.
Wow...to be a kid again! He looks very content! I am in need of a beach....badly!
WoW...real bliss indeed. Some very well captured shots!
Beach BoYz R Uz ;o]
Oh for the days when what made us happy was so simple!
Awesome series. I like the serious of its activity,he is really plunged in its world.
Has the childhood bliss of play at the beach given way to the childhood bliss of shooting picutres? Lovely colors and may we all keep shooting.
you've packed the action well. I could feel the salt on my face. Or maybe that's a bit too much.. :)
Great shots!
A cute series of images! Your son?
haha.....no, I'm no way close to path of procreation!!!! He's Nathan , one of my friend's nephew visiting her in Florida. :)
A wonderful set of photos. They really capture the joy of being a kid.
Great set! Just the "trousers" makes it a bit odd...
