One Happy Camper

Yellow-Curtain

Yellow Curtain

Yet another leaf-y post, you'd say! But fall colors are such a rarity in these parts that when I got a chance to click these happy-hued leaves on our jaunt to Washington, I almost went berserk with delight. They were the most colorful locals I came across on grey, moody days we spent there. I would love to see sunlight filtering through them some day but for now I am happy with just these......happiness in small measures!!!! :)

how lovely would it be to have such a naturally gorgeous curtain on our drab windows of steel and glass! i'm imagining it and it looks lovely!

Suggestive, fascinating, romantic... It would need to invent words new of it for your jobs.

That first photo is unusual, because the light shining through the leaves belies the foggy mist behind them. Love it!

The second is so nice too. The beautiful leaf shapes never cease to draw me in. So nice on these pavers. I'm glad you'll be able to enjoy scenes like this more soon.

What wonderful yellow leaves. I really like the blured warm colors in the background in the first shot. Love the composition of the scattered leaves in the second one too.

Moi, the first photo reminds me of sunshine captured in the bright yellow leaves. Very nice. I like them on the tree, better than on the ground. I bet you were awestruck by the colorful display of the autum leaves. Some look, and just see trees - while others look and marvel at the colors in Mother Nature's tapestry. I marvel each fall as he leaves progress through fall colors.

Hi Moi,
Going beserk with delight must be verging on an arrestable offence in Washington....
Most of the Autumn colour gone by now,but you are so right, it does chher you up this time of year even if it is for a little bit.

Cheers Mark

first I thought these are from FL, but then got cleared! I am sure you must have got excited by seeing these scenery in WA...:) First one is fabulous...and so the second perspective :)
Now ur post is encouraging me to upload mine photos on the blog...long time due..:(
(Apart, fall foliage photos come out gorgeous in grey, misty weather rather than on bright sunshine day)

Your first photo is a stunner. I was trying to accomplish something similar with a yellow maple tree last weekend, and could not get a shot in my camera that could compete with what I saw in my mind. This is it!

Beautiful. I hoped to get up somewhere north enough to see color this fall but the opportunity never materialized.
