"The dawn comes over the silent hills,
And calls to the winds of morn;
The stars grow pale, and the sun cries, 'Hail!'
To the shadowy fields forlorn;
And good-bye, good-bye, to the Will-o'-the-Wisp,
Who dies when the day is born!"

Awesome Moi....You are getting very artsy and i love it.
That is one awesome shot!
really amazing picture!! ^______^
The flame is lovely; my favorite part of the photo is the smoke disappearing in the dawn. Wonderful combination of beautiful photo and poetry.
WOW !!!! ;o]
Hi Moi,
How awsome, what a mysterical well made photo!!! Very well done.
And ehhh MOI,
you really deserve that (other) award for 'inspirational & excellent photography ' that proofs this photo AGAIN!!
I can't help it ;) that you are such a good !!photographer... :)

What an interesting photo! Wow! You do have a knack for the creative! You always come up with the most interesting shots. This one is really beautiful.
AMAZING, AWESOME, EXCELLENT...Creativity at its best Moi...Fantastic shot & the lovely words to go along with it!
This is just amazing. I love it!One of your best!
Definitely one of your best! When are you opening your studio?
GORGEOUS!!!!!! both the photo and the poem. i have to agree with the others...one of your best yet!
it was apt, as i saw a beautiful sunrise this morning while up early getting sir laughsalot ready for school...
Catching up on your photos...I'm in awe of this and yesterdays shots. Breathtaking :o)
LOVE THIS ONE!!! So beautiful! Way to capture the smoke!
In this case, I think it's good to simply repeat the above comments; great shot!
Nice shot! Very original.
Do you have all the poetry memorized or do you think of them, look them up and quote them. I can remember numbers forever and I have a bunch of bible verses memorized but other than that, I'm in trouble.
How artistic! This looks like a graphic design you would find on a book jacket. Very striking.
Very unique image, Moi.
Wonderful shot and such a lovely poem. You have the most wonderful ability to find the appropriate words for every photo. I don't always comment, but I'm always a fan.
Very whispywillish. I love it :)
ah...something different...to be very nice..somehow feels like the flame is disturbing the gray of the sky...
Wonderful shot, as usual! ^^
poetic composition indeed.
is that a matchstick in your balcony?
JAM : I am bad with numbers and I'm ashamed to say that coz I'm an engineer....and I'm not very good with verses....these are the verses I faintly remember and as and when I remember them I google for them :)
TW : thank you, it's a torch flame to keep the mosquitoes away in a local park here :)
Wow, really nice one, Moi - great play of the colors.
Hi moi! What a fantastic photo! Borrow your camera? :D

And yes, we walked up and down Ocean Drive. The Art Deco buildings were interesting, but the beach was sooo disappointing.

Gorgeous, gorgeous, magnificent, you've outdone yourself. The best shot I've seen in a long time, Moi.
Your pictures are so beautiful.
When a photo is worth indeed more than thousand words....
Very nice! It was a anti-mosquito torch? I don't know if I wanted to know that! :-) Actually, that makes it even more interesting, to find that out *after* enjoying the photo. Beauty lies everywhere if you know where to look for it (and since I'm in a slightly negative mood: there's ugliness all around as well :-()
Thanks for your visits and comments on my Villigen blog.
Figurative anti-mosquito torch! Poetry is magic and so is this photo!
Moi, spectacular, magical shot.
Thanks for you warm, encouraging words on my blog.

hey moi....i answered your question over at my site. kind of lengthy..... :)
Very dramatic! How clever of you to capture it and add this fitting poetry...
Unlike mine ;-)
Stunning... the twilight zone...
have fun doing your girlie movie night! i do the same when my hubby is out. :) wish i was closer and i'd come join ya!
and actually, i don't think it was Olive they portrayed as a lesbian, but her helper, Alice. and i don't even think they use those names for the characters. it's been a while......
but, yeah...good movie overall. it doesn't hurt that aiden quinn is in it. he's a cutie.....those eyes! :)
Oh you are SO clever! Beautiful, just beautiful! Love the poem too. It fits perfectly :)
That's so beautiful, Moi, and the words are wonderful go-alongs with the photo.
I was at the hospital tonight where my husband is currently a patient. The doctor came in at 8 p.m. to check on his patient. I know the doctor was there at 8 a.m. because he did the surgery then. What a long day doctor's have! It's a wonder you ever got to see your parents.

there goes all its mysticism in smoke :( :D
I thought that picture was not even real until i read your comment.
Wow!
Incredible picture! Fantastic picture. Nice choice of words too!!
Hello and hugs ..... :-)
What an amazing photo Moi. I love this and the poem is perfect. :-)
I've moved to Wordpress but still not very happy with it, so tentative posting. lol But its a start. :-)
Hi, I've just been browsing through your photos and your poems! and i want to say, this photo and poem combination just left me amazed! it's a shot that i would have wanted to be able to take! and the sheer delight that you have!
i have always felt that photos are like paintings, they have to be captured artistically knowing what is to be portrayed.. it's an art and you are very good at it! :)
looking forward to more great shots!
