Guess!!!! ;D

View from above

This is certainly not your Florida-scape!!! So where do you think I am currently?? :) This was my first glimpse of the region as we "cascaded" down into the city last afternoon. This is gonna be a cinch but let's play along a little....the city named after an Indian chief is in a state named after yet another great persona from the history.........Hail the chiefs!!! And no, it's not the most caffeinated US city ;DDD

Great shot of the Cascades and your journey into Washington State.
We will be visiting relatives there over Thanksgiving. Don't want snow since we are driving.
Good luck house hunting.

Hmm, Mount Rainier, Chief Seah, or Shea, Washington. So I agree with the others that you are heading into Seattle.
Who did you bribe to get that window? That's the cleanest commercial airliner window I've ever seen :)

What an awesome view. You've got me on the locality... so I will go along with the majority.

Great image, at first sight abstract. The snow on the mountains looks like the glare off a piece of rough cut ice.

I know where you are - I remember being wowed by the Cascades out a plane window not all too long ago! I lost all my pictures from that trip, though, so I'm really glad you posted this! So beautiful for something so pointy and cold :)

Wow!! That's a great shot from the airplane. Those mountains are spectacular. I've been to the airport in Seattle but never to the city itself. I would love to visit someday!

I'm merely being repetitive, but I have to add great shot too! And Happy Diwali. :)

With the help of Google.com, I'm guessing: Cascade Summit, Seattle, Washington (named after a Duwamish Indian chief). It's a lovely view of snow covered mountain tops. Kind of looks like ocean waves, too.

So beautiful wherever it is. :o)

Beautiful. Definitely not Florida.

It cracks me up to see TV shows where the characters are supposed to be driving in Florida and you can see mountains in the background. I've seen it on Criminal Minds and Without A Trace in the past.

I'd love to see some real mountains though.
