Lush Life

Newfield Covered Bridge, NY

"Men build too many walls and not enough bridges." - Isaac Newton
Here are a few scenes from our trip to the lush Finger lakes area in NY, last week.

I love, love, love covered bridges....and someday, I hope to cover all of Penn's. The one above was shot a few miles south of Ithaca, in Newfield, NY. On way to Ithaca, NY Rolling green hills and farmlands, on our way to Ithaca.............

Beautiful shots! And the little girl's portrait shots, as well!

This area looks like something out of a romance novel. Beautiful and lush.
I love covered bridges too. There aren't too many here on the West Coast though.

Oh, you were so close! Another 2 and a half hours and you'd be here!
Isn't Ithaca a lovely village? Our daughter lives there, and we did too, during the college years.
Did you see the gorgeous gorges? ;)
I don't recall seeing that covered bridge. I love them too, in fact we have one bearing our family name not too far away.
Your photo of it is lush indeed...and the light, as usual, is glorious. What an artistic talent you have :)
It's good to see the familiar street names. And those rolling hills and windrows of hay...aren't they beautiful?
You'll adore our valley :)
