A Book Half Read

The world outside my window

The World outside my window. As a friend given to poetry described it, "Can't you just hear the page of that day tip over?" :)

very dreamy, moi..... the caption fits it perfectly!

“I learned what is obvious to a child. That life is simply a collection of little lives, each lived one day at a time. That each day should be spent finding beauty in flowers and poetry and talking to animals. That a day spent with dreaming and sunsets and refreshing breezes cannot be bettered.... nice view Moi...:)

there are some rules for photography...it may help you if you read couple of books on it!
(in this case, while shooting, try to align the upper right hand corner of the window frame with the right hand corner of the photo in diagonal direction...so it will make ur eyes to follow the same line force in one stroke)

Moi, it's not just the end of the day, but an end to your Florida lifestyle, I hear (at least for the time being).
Seattle is a magical town - I can see you fitting in nicely, and the fact that you like rain, won't hurt ;-)
Congratulations to your hubby! And, yes, by all means, enjoy our sunsets...you might not see them often after December...

Had it not been from your comment, I would have thought this was a sunrise. Either way, it's a perfect accent for any day.

Beautiful shot, and with your narrative, it makes me look at the window as if it is an open book. See the two pages, one on each side? Center of the window - center of the book. Thanks for all your visits and comments Moi, I appreciate your kind words.

very nice! your door is perfect for this shot. I have new doors on a hundred year old house so it would look yuck. Perfect lighting here, too.

You'll be trading sunrises over water with sunsets. I probably have more chances of capturing the latter than the former, how about you? Thank you for your visits and comments at Villigen, I look forward to them.

Chica, Cienna, and Cali said...

z: I guess so i'll be doing that very soon....i do not mind mornings and sunrises ..just that my student life schedules never allowed me to get up that early....but sunsets will always remain special to me :)
