Poetry on my Shower Curtain ;)

Poetry on my Shower Curtain ;)

What's on yours??? :D

I am under house/lab arrest currently. My husband and I are defending our theses in the final week of this month and there's hardly any time for anything other than research and thesis work right now. That explains the series of indoor shots here. I'm itching to step out, more so with the weather being fabulous and light glorious in late afternoons but--- if wishes were horses!!!!!

mine has flowers, too! is this a reflection on yours or the pattern?

i thought of you last evening b/c the late afternoon light was coming in my bedroom window, one of my favorite 'corners'. the way it filtered thru our sheer curtains and played off the little green glass lantern i have hanging there re'moi'nded :) me of all these lovely 'light' shots you've been doing. i'll have to try and capture it sometime.

i do wish you the best on all your thesis work.... hang in there! my sis is just finishing up hers for her masters and i have gotten a glimpse into how much work it is...

Blue: this is taken from inside the tub, so it's the reflection of the fabric pattern on the outside ...the glare in the center is the darned bathroom light!!!!! :)
and i will love to see your little glass lantern in your fav. corner :)

It looks like a giant flower is taking a shower in your bathroom. Your indoor shots are very nice, like all your photos are.

In regards to the stop sign, I read on wikipedia of some who use a can of spray paint to add words like "Bush" and "War". Stop signs serve a dual purpose of political message signs, in those cases.

I think there's a very stiff fine, if caught. I hope your theses goes well, and is soon behind you.

That's a beautiful shot. I don't think I would have guessed that it's a shower curtain. Good luck with your studying and research!

If you are so creative with that flower shower curtain, then one can imagine what could you do if you get a tub filled with thousands of flowers...:)

luv this snap and title too!!!

Pure artistry Moi. I always look forward to your posts. As I have sai before you can turn the simple into something special.
Just a few more weeks and that Thesis will be finished and all that research done. It will be the best just as your photos are.

Moi, you are incredible. This shot is just such a cool surprise, and so good. And now that you've told us what you've been up to, these last three photos are very poignant! If your thesis is half as creative as your posts, it will be splendid.

I bought a black striped curtain y'day and very striking red bath rugs to go with it.

My eyes hurt when I go in the bathroom!

Great shot, Moi, good luck with the school work!

My shower curtain isn't nearly as interesting. The water spots make the photo.

Good luck with your thesis to both of you.

I guess that is a good photography exercise, to find and photograph things in the house.

I hope your defenses for the both of you go well.

Well done MOI! Indeed, you do have a great sense of imagination and poetry.
Our has some strips orange-yellow and gold, a veil type.
You mentionned the color of your curtain is blue how about the flowers?

You don't always make my visit here so worthwhile. I love your photos. Hey, are you losing weight as you write your thesis? I remember when I was writing my dissertation, I lost a bit of weight and tipped the scale at 96 pounds.

Thanks for visiting Norwich Daily Photo.

Cool... I don't have a shower curtain... it's glass... and I see faces sometimes coming in (my kids) and playing with the foggy glass :-)

Beauty in the ordinary.
I'm sorry you're stuck inside and having to work so hard. Our son-in-law finished his thesis this summer, and I know he was feeling the same as you...nose to the grind stone day after day...barely seeing the light of day it seemed. What a relief it will be for you to have it all over with.
If wishes were horses we'd be shoveling a lot of manure :)

Just found your blog and loved this shot. The title fits perfectly. Like an old fashioned black and white movie- dreamy/"misty"erious. Ha I can hardly believe your new to the camera- you've got a great eye!
