"Up, Up and Away!"

Up, Up and Away!

Nothing unique about this pic but it so aptly depicts my current state of affairs: at the end of my tether, ready to break into a flight any minute. The countdown's begun..one week from now we defend our theses and while it's been a rough going presently.......it's now only 7 more days of misery!!!!!!

Thanks all for giving me company while I am spending my nights away in the lab. Amidst all those number crunching and typing, a new comment in my mailbox always leaves me smiling and visiting your blogs gives me that much needed break :)

A Beautiful shot..... bright blue sky.... balloon ready for flight.

How exciting for you to be *almost* closing one chapter and opening the next. Here's to hoping these last 7 days go quickly - but also hoping that you are taking the time to enjoy this wonderful time in your life!

Now that I've been 'Away' for a bit, I can attest to one thing -- grad school isn't THAT bad of a place to be!

I quite like the shot. The different colour flags against the blue sky are looking very nice

Hang in there friend. It won't be long now. You can do it and you will knock their socks off with your defense.

Based on your photography and writing - I'm thinking you'll breeze right through the next seven days - just like the balloon full of helium. I wish you all the best.

This time last year, I had just defended my thesis. Ack! I seriously stressed myself out way more than was necessary - they don't let you get to the defense part unless they're sure you'll do well! But I'll be thinking of you and wishing you well these next few days. Good luck :)
